Jack is the author of 4 books, including his latest (co-authored), Sport, Ethics, and Leadership (July, 2017).  His other books include San Francisco Chronicle bestseller and Amazon Top-500 selection, The Dream Weaver and, If You Can Read This, featured in the New York Times, USA Today, and NPR.  He spoke at TEDxStanford in 2017 on the topic of awe.  Jack graduated from Stanford University with Honors in Human Biology and earned his Masters Degree in philosophy, graduating summa cum laude.  While at Stanford, he was a 2-Time National Champion water polo goalie and the NCAA MVP and went on to become the alternate goalie of the 1996 Olympic Training Team.  He has coached water polo at Menlo School for 17 years, has been honored with the Positive Coaching Alliance National Coaching Award, USA Water Polo's 2016 National High School Coach of the Year, and one of 13 2017 CIF Honor Coaches in the state.  He is an emeritus member of University of the Pacific's Institute of Sports Law & Ethics.
