Sports & Performance Psychology Consultant
Angel is a former high school softball and volleyball player who went on to earn her master’s degree in counseling from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. There, Angel was part of UT’s athletic department recruitment team for football, baseball, tennis, and track & field. She has since then pursued her doctoral degree in sport and performance psychology. Angel currently holds contracts to provide sport and performance psychology consultations to Division I athletes and professional athletes. She volunteers as assistant athletic director for her church’s sports ministry and is pursuing certification to be placed on the U.S. Olympic Committee registry of sport psychology providers through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology. In addition to youth coaching, Angel is a married mom of three and often consults with fellow sport-parents on her children’s teams.
