Heather Dittmer Davis was a collegiate women's soccer player at Western Carolina University. She played semi-pro for several years with the Cocoa Expos (FL) and Charlotte Lady Eagles (NC). She coached collegiately for UNC-Charlotte and St. Mary's College of CA. She was the Girls Director for the East Bay Eclipse soccer club and enjoyed the focus on person and player development through on and off the field opportunities. Heather co-founded a non-profit in Oakland, CA called Upward Roots, focusing on empowering youth through service-learning opportunities and leadership development. She has worked with the United Way of Metro Nashville, Thistle Farms, Hospice Giving Foundation, and All Saint's Day School in Carmel Valley, CA. Heather coached Semi-professionally with Asheville City's WPSL team in 2021.

Heather is currently the Head Women's Soccer Coach and Senior Woman Administrator at Warren Wilson College in Swannanoa, NC. She lives in Asheville, NC with her wife and daughter.
