In 2013, at the inception of PCA-Minnesota, Troy joined the Chapter as a local trainer. Troy delivered the first series of workshops and was excited to be involved with the grassroots endeavors as the Chapter gained notoriety, acceptance, and traction. For Troy, it was thrilling to participate in building up the trainer corps and help grow partners at all levels, seeing the state embrace the concepts and principles of PCA.

In 2018, Troy became Executive Director for the Chapter, and now oversees the success of the Minnesota Chapter. He works with the board to develop, implement and evaluate a long-term strategy for the chapter. He represents PCA in the local community by developing relationships with business, philanthropic, academic and government leaders. In addition, Troy is responsible for raising sufficient funds annually for PCA-Minnesota to thrive.

Before joining PCA full time, Troy served as a Division 3 head basketball coach, Athletic Director, College Vice President and Administrator, Leadership Consultant, and had stints with the Minnesota Vikings, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Lynx for their youth academies. Troy also published two coaching books to go along with a variety of freelance writing and speaking opportunities. The experiences with youth all the way to professional athletes created a sports spectrum that drives and motivates him daily.

While sports play a significant role in his life, his family is his focus. He's been married for over 30 years and has two wonderful adult daughters that have always been his pride and joy. Beyond the athletic arena, he enjoys public address announcing for local high school teams, doing anything with his family, volunteering at church, and volunteering for several other outreach programs.
