Announcing The PCA-Cleveland Recipients of the Triple-Impact Competitor® Scholarship

03.06.2019

CLEVELAND - The Cleveland Chapter of the Positive Coaching Alliance has announced its 2018 Triple-Impact Competitor® Scholarship recipients. Each of the recipients will be rewarded a $1000 college scholarship for exemplifying what it means to be a Triple-Impact Competitor® as a High School Student-Athlete. A Triple-Impact Competitor® is someone who is focused on Personal Mastery (making themselves better), Leadership (Making their teammates better), and Honoring the Game (Making the game better by showing respect for rules, opponents, and officials in addition to their teammates and themselves).

"On behalf of the PCA-Cleveland Staff and the chapters Board and Leadership team, I would like to congratulate this year's winners who were selected from an incredibly deep pool of applicants," said PCA-Cleveland Board Chair Neil Weiss, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of the Cleveland Indians. "Whether they continue to play at the next level or not, it is clear that this talented group of young leaders have been prepared through their sports experience to succeed in life and we couldn’t be more proud to recognize them with this scholarship."

The following individuals are the recipients of the 2018 scholarships:

  1. Megan Biddell - Soccer student-athlete at Mentor High School
  2. Meghan McKeough – Softball/swimming student-athlete at The Lyceum School
  3. Bryan Warah – Basketball/Cross Country/Track & Field student-athlete at Purcell Marian High School
