Director of Design & Development, Hood To Coast Relay

Morgan Powers grew up in Portland, Oregon where she played volleyball and lacrosse in high school. Morgan attended the University of Oregon where she worked for the Athletic Department in both Marketing and Football Recruiting Operations. While at the University of Oregon, Morgan was involved in many clubs and organizations including Warsaw Sports Business Club where she was the Operations Director for the KIDSPORTS Invitational Basketball Tournament. Morgan spent her summers interning for Peter Jacobsen Sports and The Greenbrier Classic PGA Tour tournament. Morgan graduated early from UO in December 2014 with a Bachelors in Business Administration (Honors Program).

Morgan joined Peter Jacobsen Sports while she was finishing up school and transitioned into a full time position as Sponsor Services Coordinator. After 2 years with PJS, Morgan began a new job with Hood To Coast Relay as the Director of Design and Development. She manages the fundraising team program for Hood To Coast & Providence Cancer Institute, raising over $850,000 for cancer research in 2018. Morgan is also responsible for marketing and graphic design for the Race Series and Relay.

When Morgan isn’t at work, she enjoys running, taking her dog Rudy to the dog park, spending time with friends and family. She is in the process of earning her MBA from Oregon State University.
