Evan’s Teacher tells us about the respect Evan demands and the way in which he leads: “He has embraced the ideals of the IB curriculum to become a well-rounded person who has respects different cultures and alternative views. Evan has garnered respect from the faculty, administration, and his peers.
Evan is a member of the baseball team at Robinson High School. Evan is a junior on a team with 12 seniors. On a team with that many seniors, Evan stood out as a leader. The team had a difficult season this year playing below 500 ball. Evan was a constant source of encouragement to those who were struggling on the team. He maintained a positive attitude in spite of not being one of the starters. Evan’s dad ran the baseball booster club. Evan never expected any special treatment and preferred to earn his chances on the field. He and his family truly honor the competitiveness of the game in the most positive of ways.”
